After 7 rough days at sea… I'm home! I’m so so glad I took the trip, but so so so glad to be back on land now. I feel so much better. 😂❤️

I took a transatlantic from New York to Southampton onboard Cunard's Queen Mary 2. I knew the weather might be bad in January, but I figured it'd either be good weather or a good story to tell you. It certainly will be that! 😅😇

This trip has confirmed to me that cruises with more than a couple of sea days in a row aren’t for me as, unfortunately, I do feel unwell if I'm at sea and in bad weather. 🌦️🤟🏼

That’s all good though, there are about 64738574 cruises that fit the criteria of not having too many sea days. 🥰🤩

I’d happily cruise on Queen Mary 2 again. There’s something really special about her. She’s a grand lady. 🙌🏼☀️

The week before our sailing, I received an email telling me that my parents had been upgraded at no extra cost to a standard balcony cabin from an obstructed view cabin.

The Queen Mary has had an incredibly busy and exciting life. She was built in 1936 and sailed for 30 years before retiring in 1967.

I stayed on board the ship in 2011 and have always found the history of the ship to be fascinating.

My boy Rolo turned 1 this week, and by popular demand, he's being promoted from Cadet to First Mate! Everybody congratulate First Mate Rolo, my lovely rescue doggy from Romania. 😂🐕

It normally takes about 5 or 10 years to do all that training, but hey, we are working in dog years here, right? Captain Hudson gave him the promotion. 🤣🐈
