I've Just Disembarked a BRAND New Ship! - Emma Cruises Weekly Newsletter

Hey hey hey, I hope you're having a lovely week. 🥳❤️

I've just disembarked the brand new Norwegian Luna, where I was onboard for a little two-day launch press trip. I was on the ship's first cruise EVER, and she's heading to Miami now for her naming ceremony. I'm back home working on my video. 😀🛳️

I managed to do so much in 2 days, including a 10-deck drop slide and an interactive adult only show. I usually run a mile from anything labelled as 'interactive' but I thought it would make a good story to tell you, and it definitely will! 😂😂

Norwegian Luna is such a beautiful ship and she is one of my all time favourites. The big oceanfront promenade, the converting theatre/club, and Indulge Food Hall (seen above) are a few of my highlights. I can't wait to show you more. 🥳❤️

Are you considering your first cruise in 2026 or 2027?

This article will guide you from pre-cruise through to disembarkation, helping you avoid costly, time-consuming mistakes.

Taking Your First Cruise in 2026? 67 Things You Need to Know

AD - On my last cruise, I found my favourite balcony cabin on any ship ever. It was called a 'large balcony cabin' onboard Marella Voyager and I'll be bringing you a full video review of it soon. 🥳❤️

Because the balcony was so long, we always had a part in the sun and a part in the shade. I do enjoy sunbathing, but not for long, and being able to keep going from shade to sun whenever I felt like it was fantastic. 😁🛳️

The location was great too, right in the middle of the ship and close to one of the water dispensers. I booked cabin 9111. (I thought it would be easy to remember and it was) 😂🛳️

If you’re considering taking a cruise you may have heard that you can eat in the main dining room or in the Speciality Restaurants onboard.

You may be wondering which would suit you best, and whether the food in the additional cost Speciality Restaurants is worth the extra money.

A couple of days ago, I took a cruise that went UNDER TOWER BRIDGE in central London! Yep, you heard me right, the bridge opened up and we sailed out late at night. 🤯⚓️ I love London so this was a dream come true and something I'll never forget. The ship was Windstar's Star Pride and she holds a maximum of 312 guests. She's a tiny little ship compared to the ships I usually sail on. 🌊😇 I say she's tiny and she is, but she used to be even smaller. The ship was cut in half and a brand new...

Hey hey hey, I hope you've had a fantastic week. It's been a great one for me with two exciting things happening. 🥳🥳 The first is that I donated the money we raised from the latest versions of First Mate Rolo and Captain Hudson. In total, it came to $31,227, which is absolutely mind-blowing. The money will do SO much good, saving and changing the lives of humans, dogs and cats! 🥰❤️ As always I am so so proud of our community here and can't thank you enough.
